“She contorts and unfolds in a delicate and incantatory way — it’s both beautiful and intense.”
“Here, boiling energies are expected to sweep both artists and audience into a shared momentum.”
Disorder is a performance for roller skates and drums. Eighteen minutes crafted as a pop-occult ritual — hypnotic, pulsing, with a hint of vengeance.
On an incantatory rhythm, drawing its force from the depths of the macrocosm, unfolds a rite of passage — a cycle to be crossed to the loops of a track. Justine Berthillot skates as if drifting through the subconscious, defying gravity, playing with balance, gliding and falling like a puppet in trance, driven by sound. Xavier Roumagnac scores and performs this duet with electronic music and visceral drumming — delivering a raw, committed, and organic energy.
